Latest connection, app and battery updates

This week, our climb continued with a focus on making the Velia experience clearer and more reliable at every step.

On the technical front, we’re making solid headway on the core improvements, outlined last week. The first version of our new connection and sync system is now in testing, as we work to fine-tune performance and reliability. 

Progress on the app is steady. We’ve been refining the vitals and profile pages to make navigation easier and the overall experience more consistent. The redesigned homepage is also in testing. Look below for a first glimpse of what’s coming.
 

We’re also working on battery life. A new firmware update is being tested that manages the optical sensors more efficiently, which should help your ring last longer between charges and deliver even more accurate readings. Early results are promising, and we’ll share more details once testing is complete. 

We know many of you are still waiting and have questions for shipping. Our priority remains delivering a seamless, high-quality experience across both the ring and the app. Shipments will resume, once we’re confident that every part of the experience meets the high standards.
