Android reliability improvements continue. Recommencing shipping

Last week we shared that we were making steady progress on the Android app as we continue working through the remaining connectivity challenges.
With the latest builds, we’re seeing first-attempt connection failures reduce from around 26% to approximately 19% overall. Performance still varies across devices - some models are performing better, while others continue to require further improvement.
Our focus now is expanding testing across a wider range of Android devices and continuing to monitor performance. Because Android behaviour varies significantly across manufacturers, models, and OS versions, broader testing helps identify remaining edge cases and improve reliability.
Secondly, following the positive feedback we’ve received on the new iOS app from many of you already using it, and in light of the consistent message from our wider backer community that you would like us to resume shipping, we’re pleased to share that we will begin doing so again from next week. We’ll take a measured and phased approach to ensure we maintain the level of quality and support you expect, but we’re excited to take this next step with you. Thank you, as always, for your patience and continued encouragement.
