Further app improvements and better temperature tracking
This week, our climb continued as we put the new Velia app through its paces with internal testing. It’s a crucial step, that helps us catch the little things, so we can make sure everything is stable and smooth before it lands in your hands.
Our work on the app’s design is moving forward, too. We’ve been tuning the UI, fixing rough edges, and shaping a new, customisable homepage that lets you choose which health metrics matter most to you. It’s all about making the experience feel more personal and putting you in control of your own health journey.
On the technical side, we’re still hard at work refining the connection and data sync flow. It’s not glamorous, but it’s the foundation for a reliable experience, so that syncing your data just works, every time.
The temperature tracking algorithm update is now live. It now does a better job measuring your day-to-day temperature changes against your personal baseline and is more robust to brief sleep interruptions, like getting out of bed during the night, so these moments won’t skew your readings. For most people, daily trends will look the same, but a few might notice their baseline gradually shifting as the system recalibrates in the background. No action is needed; it all happens automatically.
We know the question of shipments is top of mind. As we continue internal testing and validation of the updated app experience, shipping remains paused for now. We’ll share a clear update as soon as we’re ready to move forward.
We’ll keep sharing updates as we get closer to making these improvements available for everyone. Thanks for staying with us on this journey.
