But after 7 years of development, backed by 20 patents and over 80 scientific studies, we’ve tackled and overcome some of the toughest challenges in hardware, design, and health technology that had never been solved before.

Most smart rings cluster sensors in one spot, which means health data can become unreliable and incomplete when the ring rotates during everyday wear. Velia takes a radically different approach: 18 LEDs arranged in a full 360° constellation, creating 108 optical paths that capture signals from every angle. This results in uninterrupted 24/7 accuracy, powered by 2× more sensors and 6× more refined LEDs than typical smart rings. We give you all of this in a form you’ll actually want to wear.

We have big ambitions to build something truly category-defining, with blood pressure tracking coming REALLY soon and a roadmap of new features which are truly game changing. But to be honest, we’re still early in our journey. Right now, we measure your Velia Vitals, focused on heart health and sleep but we promise whats coming next, is worth the wait.
At this beta stage we know that connectivity isn't where it needs to be and some users make experience some delays in syncing your data. We're continually working on software and firmware fixes that improves this. Please keep your eyes posted for firmware updates over the coming weeks to ensure you have the latest experience.
What to do if my Velia Smart Ring and my app won’t connect?
Try restarting the app and reopening it — this should pair your ring to the app but if you have any troubles please reach out to hello@veliaring.com
Battery Life:
To deliver our ultra-slim, lightweight design, we engineered a battery as small as a single coffee bean, uniquely miniaturised to fit seamlessly into Velia’s elegant form. It charges significantly faster than most smart rings, so you’re powered up and ready to go in less time.
You may notice that our battery life is shorter than some other wearables. This is a conscious choice. We believe the trade-off was worth it to achieve a ring that’s smaller, more accurate, and genuinely wearable.
But we’re not stopping here: we’re actively working to extend battery life through ongoing software and firmware updates, without compromising on design or precision. Watch this space

We recommend charging daily — just 20 minutes charge during your nighttime skin-care routine, or while you wind down for bed will get you a full charge.
